So I went through a few weeks of not getting any sleep... I am still not quite sure how I made it through my days of teachings, but somehow adrenalin or ephinephrin (sp?) or whatever you want to call it, got me through. However, one particular day I must have been really, really tired. The bell rang for school to begin and I opened the door to let all of my little "chillins" through the door. Immediately, one of my students said... "Hey Miss Jensen. I love your shoes." I thought to myself, wow, that was a nice thing to say, so I looked down at my feet as I began to thank them for the compliment and about keeled over in shock. I was wearing one red, shiny, patten leather shoe with a big buckle on my right foot and a black, paisley print shoe on the left. Could not have had two shoes more different... Hilarious! As I thought back to how this could happen, I remembered putting one of each of them one to decide which one I wanted to wear. I remember making a decision, but somehow, the decision never transferred into making the switch. Paul was nice enough to go to my house and get me a matching shoe and bring it to my school, which I was very grateful for... SO FUNNY!
