First time to Arches

Okay... so it was not the first time for ME to go to arches, but it was the first time for Paul. Since he grew up in New Hampshire, he had never been to any of the National Parks in Utah. I couldn't let this be the case considering I grew up with Arches practically in my backyard, so we decided to take a little trip. We spent the day hiking and enjoying the beauty of the red rock before heading to my home town of Monticello for the night. It was fun to see a lot of family. We stayed a night and went to church before heading back up north. It was a great trip!!

Fun in New England

I have always wanted to go to Boston... so has my sister Jody. We have talked about it many times and for Jody's birthday, I decided it was time we no longer just talk. We invited my mom to come along and we had a fantastic time "bashing around Boston." We walked the Freedom trail and saw a ton of historical sights, toured Harvard, went shopping, saw the Boston Philharmonic and went to museums among other things. It was a fantastic time. Sorry for the pictures turned the wrong direction. I rotated them before uploading them to my blog, but they didn't stay rotated! Enjoy!

These two pictures were taken aboard the U.S.S. Constitution, which is an amazing war ship that was used in the Revolutionary war!

I have a special thing for leaves in the fall. Fall is my favorite season of the year. Nothing like fall in New England!

This lady was one of the tour guides of the Freedom Trail. She wasn't too pleased to take a picture with me, but I wanted to capture her outfit. Love it!

These two pictures were taken in one of the graveyards that house many people from Revolutionary War times, such as Paul Revere and John Adams!

These two pictures were found in the park known as "Boston Commons." Beautiful! We walked through this area many times. There were squirrels everywhere!

At the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra concert...

The famous "Acorn Street." Supposedly, this is the most photographed street in the world!

Harvard! Beautiful leaves on campus!
